Tiverton is a well-located market town with a range of recreational and shopping facilities including
Marks and Spencer! Nationally recognised Blundell's Independent Boarding School draws many people to the town.
Tiverton has a population of some 35,500 and continues to grow. Overall population is predicted to rise by 9.5% between
now and 2021 and the older age group (65 years and older) is due to increase by some 48.4% in this same thirteen year period.

Road
- the A396 provides road access into Tiverton to the north and to Exeter in the south. The M5 Motorway (some seven miles
on dual-carriageway) is accessed at Junction 27.
Rail - regular Inter-City high speed trains operate from Tiverton Parkway
at Junction 27 or from Exeter St David's.
Air - Exeter International airport is 30 minutes away by car.
